If you uninstall it, it is gone. There is no roll back to hf 2 or what ever, unless you kept a copy of the entire previous versions

I had the same problem. I ended up deleting everything and reinstalling. Have you tried the suggestions in the FAQ? https://www.prepar3d.com/frequently-asked-questions/ Open the technical section and read that.
