Building a new system on a Budget.Just wondering if everything looks like it belongs together .Will be using mainly for Flight Sims.Anything I can improve on with out adding a lot of money to the project.Wondering if it will be enough HP to run P3D v4.5, with ad-dons ,like , Orbix,Rex SkyForce 3d,Rex Soft Clouds,UT Live and PMDG 737-800.

Unless a canadian dollar is worth .50 cents in New York, then I think you're way overpaying for the performance.
Your CPU choice is horrible if buying new today, and the cost of that OLD motherboard is UNBELIEVABLE (old 4core i7 7700k for $475, ASUS Prime z270 $389). Since, I don't think you are the type to make unbelievable choices, I'm going to go out of my way and guess you already owned the CPU & Motherboard, and you're looking to upgrade the rest of the parts. Am I right?

Pay the extra $100 for lower latency RAM. P3D is CPU process bound, and the longer RAM signal-timing between RAM and CPU will COST you performance EVERYWHERE in P3D. 3600hz CL 18 is "almost" garbage bin Silicon, even with Corsair LPX branding on it. https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/products/me ... RAM CL 16ms over 10% faster signal time than the 18ms RAM you have in your initial build. That over 10% faster signal timing is the difference between the trashbin silicon and the higher-bin wafers. Once you finalize on a motherboard (in case you don't already own the ASUS z270 that's ABSURDLY OVERPRICED at $389-CA), check with the motherboard manufacturer to confirm this RAM runs well on their board. You can shave another 1ms off at DDR4 3600 CL15, but that 1ms faster timing DOUBLES the price AGAIN

Your SSD, you are paying over $400 for 2x 1TB drives. Switch one out for this 2TB SSD Intel 660p 2TB NVMe $253(CA) That expands your SSD drive capacity by an extra 50% for $50 (CA) more.

As you can tell I need it .Yes you are right , I don't want to waste money on a system that won't deliver performance with P3D. So to be honest I don't own 7700k or the motherboard,but would like to keep the budget around $2000.00 CA.This is why I posted here to get the best information to make an intelligent purchase. Would you Suggest ,maybe I7-9700K or I9-9900K ? I just want to have a system that will allow me to run P3D , with high settings in all areas, smooth. If it requires the budget to be increased a little , done . This build will be taking me into Retirement and Flying into the sunset. So if you could guide me through this to have a system that will deliver ,I would be grateful.On a side note ,I have already purchased the GPU which is ,GTX 1660, I know, not the best , but there's that budget thing again.
