Live Traffic is a commercial product, and will only come out for P3D v. 6 if the developers think there is a market for it.

If you want real AI traffic, you might have to do it yourself, and a good starting point for that is AIG (civil airline traffic, with a little business traffic thrown in) and/or MAIW (military).

I am a fan of the free AIG traffic in P3d V6. I have used AIG flightplans for about 3 years on V5 before V6 as well.

The supplied 'AI-Manager' takes a bit of learning, but it is worth it. It detects if you have V5 and/or V6 installed, and it takes it from there. A drop down to select the one you are currently updating.
You can select individual airlines, or by regions, or everything (you need a bit of disk space).

You should then install the 'AI-Controller' as well. It starts when you start your V6 and you can regulate the amount of traffic you have around you.

My point of view.

Due to the sheer amount of add-on scenery and Ai in my installation, I cannot even install AIG's AI Manager. Even if I let it run overnight, from 18:00 (6:00 PM) to about 08:30 (8:30 AM), it does not complete.

Besides that, the AIG bgl format:

1. Is proprietary and cannot be opened for editing with for example AIFP (AIG has until now not made an editing tool), and

2. Can cause issues like stuttering (see recent posts by Ray Proudfoot).

Strange.
I guess that I am lucky that I don't have stuttering on either P3d V5 or V6. I had heard that some do.

From the begining, I have been selective in the airlines, from around the world, that I installed and update each month. (For instance, no South America or African based airlines because I do not fly there. Plus, only international Chinese and Indian airlines etc)
I believe I have around 400 out of the over 1,300 airlines available on Alpha India Group, and around 280 Sim object installed.

Things run very smooth.
