pd3v4 file error

hello
having these issues please help .
source file not found
c:\users\owner\appdata\local\temp\wzode6\prepar3dv4-academic-4.0.28.21686\cont1.cab.

second error message

content errors have been detected. see log :c:\users\owner\documents\prepar3dv4files\contenterrors.txt

Hoping you will able to help with this problem . Thanks in advance .

It sounds like there may have been an error when downloading the installer. Did you see any errors during the download? You may need to re-download and install again.

Hello Rob
Thanks for you reply . I have already tried to reinstall it many times . I keep a message that says source file cant be found and then it closes down . I managed to get it downloaded once but then the screen went black with a white silhouette scenery on it . AT the end of my tether here .

I would double check your download was successful. You can verify your downloads by checking the checksum value. This post goes into detail on how to do that: viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=126158.

Hi rob
it doesnt actually install completely . it gets half way through and then the error message appears saying source file cannot be found , and then closes down .

This is most likely due to the download not completing successfully. Verifying the checksum should indicate this.
