It's great to see that V6 accurately represents the massive new hospital -Yeşilköy Prof. Dr. Murat Dilmener Emergency Hospital - that was built in record time at the start of the COVID pandemic on the site of the old 35L/R 7L/R runways at LTBA Istanbul Ataturk. However, for the sake of nostalgic flights to this airport, is there quick and simple any way to remove this enormous building, if only temporarily?

Hi,
I am answering you as a simple enthusiast of the LM simulators from version v4 to V6.
The building you mentioned can be removed with an exclusion rectangle, as written by Michel who responded to you previously.
However, according to the new V6 system, this building is included in a group of airport buildings and, inevitably, the other buildings included in the same group will also be excluded.
Consequently the coordinates of the exclusion rectangle are, unfortunately, not those proposed previously, as the center of the group coordinates are different.

Copy, paste into Notepad and save in .xml with the name you prefer
(without leaving spaces between two or more words, if you choose so).
Then compile with bglcomp.exe:

Note that, if the xml will not compile a bgl, you can read what is wrong in the code.
For example, if you rename your xml file as LTBA_Exclude.xml, you can create another text file with this line:
bglcomp LTBA_Exclude.xml >> resultat_bgl.txt
Rename this file xml.bat
Run this bat in the same folder which contains bglcomp.exe, bglcomp.xsd and LTBA_Exclude.xml.
A resultat_bgl txt file will be created and report what is wrong.
If all is good the result is :
Parsing document: LTBA_Exclude.xml
Parse complete!

Thanks ever so much for responding to my post, and enlightening me with your techniques for solving this query. I've been travelling over the last week, but today, after some trial and user-error in implementing your advice, I succeeded in creating a replacement BGL for LTBA. I'm very happy with the result, and plan to fly there tomorrow from EHAM, in a Turkish PMDG 777.
