Anyone can become a Prepar3D Developer! No matter if you are a seasoned developer, or just starting out, we want to encourage you to develop for Prepar3D.
You will get two authorized activations of Prepar3D and can utilize the Prepar3D Software Development Kit (SDK) to develop and integrate your own applications and content.
The Prepar3D Developer Subscription is designed to provide resources needed to develop Prepar3D compatible offerings. Develop new models and content, such as aircraft, instruments, ground vehicles, boats, buildings and other structures. Create new visuals, such as scenery, terrain, and special effects. Structured scenarios, such as tutorials and checklists, can be created via SimDirector. Prepar3D is fundamentally data driven; there is no limit to the amount of new data, models, or scenarios that can be created!
The developer program is also open to any individual or business who is interested in using Prepar3D to develop applications and add-ons.
By becoming part of the program, developers can employ a rich set of resources enabling you to:
- Develop complementary product offerings ranging from missions, vehicles, application add-ons and so on.
- Integrate Prepar3D into a solution for deployment
Registered Developers can take advantage of baseline benefits to help support their development, testing and marketing efforts.
- Two (2) Prepar3D license activations – provided to help integrate and test multiplayer and shared cockpit capabilities!
- Prepar3D® Software Development Kit (SDK)
Please see Prepar3D Development Network Agreement for more information.
Development licenses are for internal development use only. Deployed and end user systems require a standard license.
